The paper highlights the possibilities of incorporating media literacy in everyday (pre) school procedure. Among the various forms of communication activity used by the teacher, those related to media are explored. Furthermore, the reader is given the opportunity to understand why cultivating media literacy can lead to the improvement of language teaching in the classroom as well pupils’ encouragement to critically assess the various messages that affect them. A series of methods is proposed to enrich the processing of authentic material presented in the classroom. Finally, specific practices are presented to motivate pupils to become potential communication co – creators within the framework of feedback. |
